Bio

Dr. Mary Maish is a graduate of Northwestern University and obtained her
MD from Rush Medical College. She then went on to complete a Master of
Public Health degree at Harvard University and was awarded the Rhoddy
Scholar at Brown University, where she participated in groundbreaking
research and published in tissue engineering.

Her surgical training included Fellowships at MD Anderson Cancer Center
and University of Southern California. She is the author of numerous
publications and has spearheaded several programs in thoracic and foregut
surgery in California and Illinois, including at UCLA and Northwestern. She
is double boarded in general and thoracic surgery and her practices
focuses on cardiovascular and thoracic diseases.

Throughout her career she has built strong clinical programs that are
recognized in her field of clinical expertise. She has worked in medical
education and established programs at reputable institutions. As a chief
medical officer, she has also been instrumental in leading a hospital turn
around, gaining momentum in hospital administration.

She is vivacious, focused and kind and is well respected by her colleagues.
Her patients follow her across state borders, and she rates amongst the
most well-liked surgeons as demonstrated by Press-Ganey surveys. She
is committed to her family, her patients and her community.
